Although this project centers on mountains, I’m not out chasing summits. Most of my hikes are spontaneous—guided by mood, weather, curiosity, and opportunity rather than any checklist. Over time, I’ve developed a genuine appreciation for urban hiking and the balance it offers between nature and daily life. I hold deep respect for cities that invest in trails, open spaces, and thoughtful infrastructure that connect people directly to the outdoors. I tend to walk two to seven miles most days, and the bigger hikes are a welcome change of pace when they come up. This section brings together an assortment of those hikes and walks—some planned, many unplanned, all part of the same curiosity for landscape and place.
